#LeadOn Workshop: Constructive conversations – how mediation techniques can help manage conflict with dog owners

In the context of sheep worrying by dogs, May educated attendees on how we naturally react in situations of conflict, and steps which can mitigate conflict. Key points were the importance of understanding the other party’s viewpoint and explaining the importance of having a dog on a lead near sheep in a measured and positive way. The session was thought provoking and practical, and many of the skills May explained could be applied in all manner of situations in life.
