The 133rd NSA AGM will take place on Tuesday 11th August 2026, at The Moredun Foundation, Midlothian, Scotland.

Join NSA for the AGM and tour to enjoy a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes into the cutting edge work Moredun carries out to improve the health of all our animals.

Formed originally by farmers, for farmers, Moredun has developed into a world class centre for research into improving farm animal health and welfare through the prevention and control of infectious diseases.

Tea and coffee will be available on arrival before the Annual General Meeting (AGM) begins. This will be followed by a buffet lunch and then a tour of Moredun.

Dr Thomas Tzelos, Deputy Head of Bio-Services will host the tour of the research farm onsite, visiting the post mortem suite, surgery and giving insight into ongoing research trials.

Moredun’s work is firmly based on addressing the needs of the farming industry and has led to the development of many vaccines, including Louping ill, diagnostic tests including those for bluetongue and improved treatment strategies for farm animals across the globe. In partnership with SRUC, Moredun’s diseases surveillance experts also constantly monitor and scan for new and emerging diseases.
