Become a RoSA adviser
Membership of the Register of Sheep Advisers (RoSA) is open to anyone who specialises in providing expert advice within the sheep sector. You might specialise in one area (e.g. as a vet or nutritional consultant) but must have knowledge of the whole sector.
To apply for membership, email the information listed below. This will be reviewed by RoSA and, if you receive confirmation of your successful application, an invoice for £100* will be sent and membership begins once payment is received. When you submit your application, you are committing to abide by the RoSA Code of Professional Ethics if your application is accepted.
The RoSA membership year runs from 1st February to 31st January. If you join part-way through the year the fee remains the same but the number of CPD points you need to accrue between your start point and 31st January will be reduced on a pro rata basis. More on annual CPD requirements here.
All RoSA members are automatically NSA members too. You will receive all NSA membership benefits and an NSA membership card with “NSA & RoSA Member” marked on it. A photo, phone number, email address and short description of all active RoSA members is publicly available – see here – so sheep farmers can contact you to request professional services. RoSA members also get a pin badge, car sticker, guidance notes and new member leaflet.
