Lamb for St Andrews Day Dinner

The Scottish sheep industry is invited to an evening of delicious food and celebration as NSA Scotland holds its annual Lamb for St Andrews’ Day Dinner.

The dinner will take place on the evening of Friday 29th November at Hetland Hall, Carrutherstown, Dumfries DG1 4JX following upon the success of the inaugural dinner held in 2022 which brought together sheep industry members to celebrate Lamb for St Andrews Day and all it stands for.

This year’s dinner promises to be another fantastic evening, with more than 100 sheep farmers and sector representatives coming together where Scotch lamb will of course be the showcase of the three-course meal, kindly donated by Scottish levy board QMS.

The meal will be preceded by a welcome from NSA Scotland Chairman, Peter Myles, followed by after dinner entertainment from Ken and Fiona Fletcher.

Bookings are now closed

NSA Scottish Region Coordinator Grace Reid says: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming friends, old and new to the Lamb for St Andrew’s Day Dinner this year. Last year was a fantastic evening of networking and celebration with delicious Scotch Lamb the centrepiece of the event, just as it should be. I would urge anyone considering joining us to book their tickets today as spaces will be limited. Last year’s dinner was such a fantastic social occasion and we want to make sure 2024 continues upon previous success.”

Doors will open from 7pm before guests will be invited to order drinks from the bar before promptly sitting down at 7.30pm. Following the meal, there will be tea, coffee, and shortbread whilst a raffle featuring a selection of top prizes is drawn alongside entertainment before networking continues.

For further information, or to reserve a hotel room, please contact NSA Scottish Region Coordinator Grace Reid who will be able to assist where possible grace@nationalsheep.org.uk / 07787 142858.
