NSA Next GENE-eration
NSA Next GENE-eration provides young breeders with access to top genetics. It gives away vouchers for young sheep farmers to purchase a ram and integrate new genetics into their flock.
The biennial initiative began in 2021 and works with renowned sheep producers to give young farmers the opportunity to benefit from owning a fully performance recorded ram from which to grow their own enterprises.
So far the programme has rewarded forward thinking young farmers with vouchers to exchange for both Romney and Dutch Spotted rams, with the support of Jo and Rob Hodgkins of Kaipoi Romneys and the Dutch Spotted Sheep Society.
