The Sheep Health, Wealth and Production (SHWAP) online conference, organised by the NSA South East Region, returned this autumn for three consecutive evenings of expert-led discussions and presentations.
The conference successfully combined cutting-edge research, industry expertise, and practical application, offering actionable insights into flock health, technology adoption, parasite control, and breeding for efficiency.
Each evening followed a structured format of two 30-minute presentations followed by a 30-minute question and discussion session, providing participants with opportunities for practical insight and direct engagement with speakers.
More than 500 participants from the UK and overseas valued the interactive online format and breadth of expertise represented across veterinary science, genetics, and farm management, reinforcing NSA’s commitment to supporting a resilient and sustainable UK sheep industry. One participant said “I joined the NSA this year and just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful event. Very interesting and informative.”
