NSA South West Region ARMM

A well supported NSA South West Region Annual Members’ Meeting (ARMM) took place at the Exeter Livestock Market.

Official proceedings saw no change to officeholders and was followed by a discussion on Bluetongue in light of the recent change to the restriction zone.

Following official business, the meeting welcomed Will Jackson, AHDB Market Development & Communications Director who spoke about the work AHDB are doing domestically and on a global scale to maintain current markets and the potential to identify and open new markets worldwide. This was followed by Janet Roden, Innovis Geneticist, giving an overview of the Breed for CH4nge project, what is involved with the project, the overall aim and how this is being achieved. Nicola Noble, NSA Project Manager, rounded off proceedings with an update on current NSA activity and the project work being undertaken.
