NSA Marches Region farm walk

NSA welcomed many new faces to an interesting farm walk near Bridgenorth, Shropshire on Tuesday evening. Hosted by Hayden Woolley alongside Ian McDougall of sheep breeding company Farmgene.

Visitors leant about the background to Hayden and Ian’s work combining advanced breeding technologies, performance recording and no nonsense commercial sheep farming to produce both terminal and maternal lines of shedding sheep, bred to perform well on most farms in Britain and beyond, producing a better quality lamb with a low environmental footprint.

NSA Marches Region Manager Katie James comments: “It was great to attract many new people to our farm walk on Tuesday. It was the first farm walk held in Shropshire for some years and the fantastic attendance highlighted the demand for more which we will endeavour to deliver!
