NSA Eastern Region Rugby Ram Show and Sale

The NSA Eastern Region Ram Sale was held Friday 28th August, at Rugby Farmers Market.
A strong entry of quality rams from across the country met a buoyant trade at the latest NSA Ram Sale, with averages up on previous sales and strong demand throughout the day.
The top price of the day was £1,344 for quality Pedigree Texel shearlings from Philip Weaver, Newark.
Other leading prices included:
Charollais Shearlings: £1,092 from Chris Timm, Pickering, North Yorkshire
Suffolk: £861 from Messrs JB & RL Cook, Napton
Beltex cross: £1,260 from VJ Roots, Southam
The strong results underline continued buyer demand for quality breeding stock, with a good level of competition seen throughout the sale.
