NSA AGM 2025
Date: 12th August 2025
Time: 1pm for 1.30pm start
Location: Hartington Room, The Stables, Chatsworth House, Bakewell, DE45 1PP
The 132nd NSA AGM took place on Tuesday 12th August 2025, at Chatsworth House.
NSA had a successful and enjoyable AGM at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire, courtesy of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and farm manager David Howlett.
The AGM attracted its largest audience in many years, who later stayed for an inspiring farm tour. NSA Chief Executive Phil Stocker says: “We saw the estate’s flock of commercial ewes grazing a vast area of impressive parkland and an example of the estate’s Swaledale sheep that graze the moorland in the Peak District National Park. The farm tour took place amongst thousands of visitors to Chatsworth park where they have free access to walk and enjoy the landscape. It would be immeasurably useful to know how much they attribute to sheep farming crating such an attractive environment for them to enjoy.”
The following day, NSA held a quarterly board meeting where, after the usual business, the board was given a presentation by Michael Priestley NSA Policy Manager, on a range of policy work that NSA is currently undertaking.
