Groundswell - The regenerative agriculture festival

Date: 2nd July 2025 - 3rd July 2025

Time: 7- late

Location: Lannock Farm, North Hertfordshire, SG4 7EE

This week (4th July) NSA hosted it's first stand at Groundswell. NSA has been invited as a speaker for the past few years to this regenerative agriculture festival attracting thousands of people during the two days. But this year NSA had its own stand within the Wool tent.

NSA Project Manager Nicola Noble and Chief Executive Phil Stocker also chaired sessions over both days discussing the opportunities and challenges of integrating livestock, in particular sheep, into arable and agroforestry systems Assistant to the Chief Executive, Andrea Calvesbert attended on behalf of NSA on Wednesday.

Andrea says: “It was a fantastic event and, although Nicola and Phil spoke at Groundswell last year, this was the first time NSA had a stand presence there. It was such a good event to talk about the importance of sheep farming in shaping landscapes, supporting food, wool production and how sheep can play a vital role in building habitats and improving land and soil health – all of which are incorporated in NSA’s core values. Thanks go to British Wool for their marquee, which was the perfect combination of all things wool and sheep, working really well for visitors.”
