7^th October 2021 NSA South West Region and FWAG Farm Walk Time: 1.30pm Location: Lovaton Farm, South Tawton, Okehampton, Devon, EX20 2RA On Thursday 7th October  NSA South West Region alongside FWAG South West held their farm walk at Lovaton Farm, Okehampton, Devon to discuss the upcoming Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI). 25^th September 2021 NSA Central and Eastern Region Young Shepherd Competition Location: Chatsworth, Dunsa Farm, Edensor, Bakewell DE45 1PH On Saturday 25th September NSA Central and Eastern Region’s jointly welcomed competitors to their Next Generation competition day at Chatsworth Estate, by kind permission of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Competitors took part in a series of shepherding tasks including ram MOT, finished lamb selection, ATV handling, drenching and shearing, showing off their abilities and developing their skills further. 22^nd September 2021 NSA Eastern Region Farm Walk and Hog Roast Time: 2pm Location: Ickworth park, Ickworth, Suffolk, IP29 5QE On Wednesday the 22nd September NSA Eastern Region held their Farm Walk and Hog Roast at Ickworth Park by kind permission of the National Trust.  Farmers Paul and his sister Lil are celebrated 50 years of running the sheep flocks at Ickworth. NSA Eastern Region have an 800 ewe flock of Mules, Lleyn x Mule and Exlana crosses. Read More

20^th September 2021 NSA Wales & Border Main Ram Sale Location: Builth Wells The NSA Wales & Border Main Ram Sale in September is a significant force in the UK sheep industry, with around 30 breeds represented, more than 5,000 rams on sale and an attendance of around 7,000 people. 14^th September 2021 NSA Cymru/Wales regional farm walk Time: 3pm Location: Cwm Farm, Talgarth, Brecon, LD3 0EE On Tuesday 14th September, NSA Cymru held a farm walk at Cwm Farm, on behalf of Jeff Gwilliam and Family.  NSA Cymru recieved an extensive toour of Cwm Farm. Jeff is the fifth generation of his family to farm the 300 acre grass hill farm, with ground lying some 600-1200ft above sea level. Read More

29^th August 2021 NSA Northern Region and Carr's Billington Next Generation Shepherd Competition Location: Laypool Farm, Renwick, Penrith, Cumbria CA10 1JL A successful event was held at Laypool Farm, Renwick near Penrith thanks to our generous and enthusiastic hosts Daniel & Jackie Taylforth. 15 competitors came forward with a number taking part in the new under 18 years old category. Compulsory tasks included the husbandry and welfare alongside the health and welfare questionnaire. Read More

27^th August 2021 NSA Eastern Region Rugby Ram Sale Time: 2pm approx Location: Rugby Livestock Market Top quality terminal sires attracted some keen buyers at NSA Eastern Region’s Rugby ram sale last Friday 27th August at Rugby Farmers Mart, Warwickshire. Despite entry numbers being slightly reduced from 2020, the quality of stock was evident for all to see with bidders still having a good number of rams to select from with some well known breeders putting forward some excellent pens from which to choose.
