NSA Northern Ireland Region ARMM

Alistair Armstrong from Tempo in Co Fermanagh was elected as the new NSA Northern Ireland Chairman at the region’s ARMM last night (Thursday 3rd  February). He takes over the role from outgoing chairman Jonny Farmer. Alastair farms on the family farm in Tempo, County Fermanagh, under the Leam Livestock banner. The farm consists of approximately 160 acres running 250 North Country Cheviot Ewes. Alastair also shepherds for Aughentaine Estate near Fivemiletown.

Dale Orr, an organic farmer from Strangford in Co Down steps into the role as NSA Northern Ireland Vice chairman. The committee were re-elected en bloc with the addition of Kenny Little, Aughnacloy in Co Tyrone.

NSA Northern Ireland development Officer Edward Adamson comments: “We welcome all new officeholders in to their posts. Thank you to all who joined the online meeting and to Sean Riches, NSA Policy & Technical Officer, gave an update on the recent work being done on a national basis and then Cammy Wilson, well known for his You Tube channel The Sheep Game who gave a very interesting talk.”
