Investigating Animal Health and Welfare - Scotland

Date: 30th August 2023

Time: Afternoon

NSA Scotland are pleased to offer members and others in the sheep industry an opportunity in conjunction with the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine to explore a first hand post mortem and diagnosis workshop. This is a valuable chance to experience the investigatory process of why an animal may have died alongside discussing issues found and what preventative measures could have been taken to ensure improved health and productivity for the flock. Specimens can be provided for the post mortem however, if you have an ill thriven sheep you wish to investigate, please do let us know.

The event will take place on the afternoon of Wednesday 30th August 2023 with limited spaces available – please contact NSA Scottish Region Coordinator Grace Reid to reserve your place grace@nationalsheep.org.uk / 07787 142858. Further details will be made available to attendees closer to the event.
