NSA Northern Region tour of British Wool and Scouring plant

Members of NSA Northern Region visited British Wool’s Bradford Headquarters on Tuesday for an interesting tour of the site plus an insightful visit to the Haworth Scouring Plant. NSA Northern Region Manager Chris Adamson comments: “We enjoyed a really educational visit to Bradford this week. Sincere thanks go to British Wool, in particular Gareth Jones, Producer Marketing Manager and James Bickerton, Communications Supervisor, who conducted the tour giving a talk on British Wool operations, its future vision and consumer marketing. It was interesting to see the wool auctions taking place and to view the scouring process taking the raw fleece into a pristine product ready for spinning.”
