NSA Northern Region Annual Members Meeting

Date: 25th February 2016

Time: 7.30pm

Location: Tynedale Function Suite, Hexham Auction Mart, Tyne Green, Hexham, NE46 3SG

NSA Northern Region held its Annual Members Meeting on Thursday (25th February). And this was no ordinary meeting, as it saw Julie Sedgewick step down from her position as Regional Manager after some 27 years of involvement.

NSA Chief Executive Phil Stocker reports on the evening: “This was always going to be a special and good meeting, but also a sad one as it signified the end of Julie Sedgewick’s role as NSA Northern Region Manager. Her ‘boys’ are going to miss her but her shoes are being admirably filled by Heather Stoney-Grayshon, who everyone welcomed into the role. In addition to a lovely and artistic retirement gift, Julie was awarded with the T.I. Allinson award for outstanding contribution to sheep farming in the North of England. Julie had arranged presentations from AHDB’s Steve Dunkley and NSA Next Generation Ambassador Thomas Carrick, which were well revived and it also gave me chance to talk through some of the work of NSA.”
