Join National Sheep Association, AHDB and Harry Travis for an engaging and insightful evening, on Tuesday, 4th February, starting at 6:30 pm. This event will feature a live butchery demonstration of a lamb carcase, providing an in-depth look at how carcasses are balanced to meet the demands of various markets in the UK and internationally.
Martin Eccles, Trade Marketing Executive at AHDB, will skillfully deconstruct the carcase, while Jonathon Eckley, Head of International Trade Development at AHDB, provides expert commentary on market destinations, volumes, and the factors shaping trade decisions.
Jonathon will also delve into global promotional efforts for British lamb, sharing insights into its reception across key markets, including a light touch on halal trade and the opportunities in Middle Eastern markets.
