NSA Eastern Region Annual Members Meeting

As autumn approaches, so does the series of Annual Members Meetings for NSA regions. NSA Eastern Region was the first this Wednesday evening, where Dan Phipps was appointed as the new regional chairman. Dan, who is already the NSA UK Policy and Technical Committee Chairman, replaces Andrew Foulds in the role. Andrew will continue work as an NSA Trustee for the region. Ewan Cumming, an NSA Next Generation Ambassador this year, was appointed as Vice Chairman and Jonathan Barber will continue as Regional Manager.

The business of financial reports and appointment of officers was followed by a hearty meal and talks from Hugh Brown, newly appointed Chief Executive at Melton Mowbray Livestock Market, and Phil Stocker, NSA Chief Executive. Phil reports: “My thanks go to all the team at NSA Eastern Region for putting on such a good evening, but also for all the work they do throughout the year and behind the scenes. In particular with Andrew standing down as Chairman, everyone present at the meeting extended a huge thank you for all he has done in this role. I hope Dan gets a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction as he takes this on.”
