NSA Scottish Region Activities Officer
NSA Scottish Region is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Activities Officer to join the team. This is a chance to shape a new role within NSA Scottish Region and unleash your creativity to develop activities and events that support and celebrate the Scottish sheep farming community.
The successful applicant will be given an initial 12-month temporary contract, with the view to it becoming a permanent contract. The home-based role offers a flexible work arrangement of either three or four days a week, with regular travel within Scotland.
In this exciting role you will:-
- Develop and deliver a range of engaging activities and events, including NSA Scot Sheep, NSA Highland Sheep, the NSA Scottish Region at the Royal Highland Show, the annual Lamb for St Andrew’s Day dinner, biennial NSA Next Generation Shepherd competition, farm walks and evening meetings.
- Enhance the profile of NSA Scottish Region both online and through events.
- Utilise excellent marketing and communication skills to manage the NSA Scottish Region website and social media accounts.
- Attract sponsorship and manage budgets for events of all sizes.
This position is perfect for someone who:-
- Possesses excellent marketing and communications skills, including managing website and social media accounts.
- Has proven experience in organising industry events of all sizes, including attracting sponsorship and managing budgets.
- Is highly motivated, creative and organised, with a passion for the sheep farming community.
